Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) is a well-established form of treatment in which the patient breathes 100% oxygen at higher than normal atmospheric pressure.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is given in special therapeutic chambers, the pressure inside this treatment chamber is increased to higher than normal atmospheric pressure and the patient then breathe oxygen at this higher pressure.

Benefit from Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy:

  • Increases plasma oxygen concentration 10 to 15 times.
  • Provides oxygen to areas with compromised blood flow.
  • Enhances white blood cell’s ability to destroy bacteria and fungi.
  • Kills anaerobic bacteria directly.
  • Increases efficiency of some antibiotics to treat infections.
  • Reduces swelling, inflammation, bruising, and the recovery time from surgery and traumatic injury.
  • Assists in the growth of the new blood vessels.
  • Enhances formation of collage and new tissue growth and skin refreshment.
  • Increasing level of antioxidant enzymes and antioxidant capacity in the body
  • Increasing stem cell production in the body by 50% after single session and by 8 times after 20 sessions.
  • Enhances the body’s natural healing process.
  • Helps rapid recovery of Sports Injuries.
  • Improves immune system response.
  • Facilitates cellular dormant neutrons that are alive but not functioning in and around the injured tissue of the brain.
